Mods DK http://www.mods.dk/ This European site offers free ham equipment manuals, the largest collection of free manuals on the web. Has equipment modifications, diagrams, pictures, etc., this is one of those sites you'll visit a lot.
QRZ http://www.qrz.com/ Another Ham site loaded with useful and necessary information. You can find forums, classified ads for ham equipment, practice tests for becoming a ham with all the questions and answers, news, etc.
Rig Pix http://www.rigpix.com/ This has a large collection of ham equipment pictures with other info as to what bands they cover, the output, when made, etc. Another site you'll visit often, lots of valuable information.

AOPA http://www.aopa.org/ The AOPA is the leading organization in aviation, this site is filled with really up-to-date information on just about every aviation subject.
EAA http://www.eaa.org/ This is the "Homebuilders" organization for people interested in building their own airplane, it has everything you need to know to get started.
